What to expect during your apprenticeship as a Management Assistant in Office Management at NBB
You will primarily be trained in our administration in Laatzen and partially in Sarstedt, where our company headquarters is located. You will rotate through different teams in accounting, including: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking accounting. This way, you’ll gain broad knowledge and become an expert in accounting topics.

- Processing invoices and incoming payments: You check incoming invoices, record payments, and keep track of outstanding items.

- Communication with customers, team members, and external partners: Via phone or email, you interact with internal teams, business partners, and customers, becoming the key communication hub in daily office life.

- Data and file management: You maintain and organize both digital and physical records – reliably, carefully, and in compliance with GDPR.

At NBB, there’s no strict 9-to-5 schedule. Your working hours depend on the team you’re currently assigned to:
Earliest start: from 7:00 a.m.; your daily schedule is coordinated flexibly with your team
Working hours account: Overtime is recorded and compensated with time off
Home office: In special cases, working from home is possible – we provide the necessary equipment
Deployment in all key administrative areas
To give you a holistic understanding of the company, you will rotate through various departments at notebooksbilliger.de, with a particular focus on accounting:
General Ledger Accounting: You’ll learn everything about tax topics and cost accounting without direct merchandise reference. Accounts Payable: You will process supplier invoices and credit notes related to merchandise purchases.
Accounts Receivable: Here you’ll handle customer invoices, incoming payments, and dunning processes. Bank Accounting: You will manage payment transactions and oversee our bank accounts.
Controlling: You will assist with analyses, monitor profitability, and help with supplier rebate settlements.
Product Management: You will gain insights into purchasing, strategic collaboration with manufacturers, and marketing of our products.
Additionally, during your training, you will get to know other areas such as logistics, the stores, and customer service.
Individual Support: We actively promote your development – offering more than just a mandatory program:
We cover the costs for additional exam preparation courses.
If needed, we provide individual coaching on technical topics and soft skills.
You have regular meetings with your trainers and fellow trainees, and always have a personal point of contact.
