Product Management

As an e-commerce company, product management is the heart of the company, along with logistics. The product management defines what we sell online or offline, as well as how full our warehouses are stocked.

The product management consists of different areas:

In purchasing, our product managers are responsible for the product groups (e.g. notebooks, monitors, PCs, cell phones). They negotiate purchasing conditions with manufacturers, analyze trends and derive from them what is purchased. They set the prices and initiate the corresponding marketing measures. Ultimately, they are the turntable for all departments for questions concerning the product range.

But the product manager alone cannot be liable for the entire product life cycle. Therefore, they work hand in hand with the operative purchasing department, which acts as a link between suppliers, warehouse and accounting to clarify all open questions or deal with delivery delays.

In order to present our products in a high-quality manner in the online shop, the colleagues from the article data maintenance help. They are responsible for product presentation, description and image processing.

Our colleagues from product marketing are responsible for the newsletter so that the products reach the customer in a targeted manner. They act as a link between manufacturers, product management, sales and graphics. They check promotion codes, quality and compile success statistics so that we can continue to develop and grow.
