We make sure that our customers' technical products ordered online are delivered to their homes as quickly as possible and that the shelves in our stores are filled. Every year, we ship about 1,250,000 packages and 10,000 pallets, and process over 200,000 orders a month. To make this work, not only a machinery of modern logistics systems and well thought-out processes tick in the background, but also a strong team is working on it.

Logistics at NBB consists of the following areas: Shipping, goods receipt, inventory management, building services and logistics management (administration). In addition to the central warehouse in Laatzen, there are other small supply and dispatch warehouses in Sarstedt.

In logistics at NBB, many cogs in the gearbox mesh together to move bit things. This requires a complex organizational effort, but at the same time opens up a wide range of entry and career opportunities in our warehouse logistics.The following jobs are regularly filled in the logistics department at NBB:

Warehouse helper(*)

You pack goods for shipping or process the incoming goods.

Picker(*)

You will be responsible for compiling the orders of our customers according to picking receipts.

Specialist(*) for warehouse logistics

You manage and control the warehouse processes, assemble goods for shipping and you are working in the incoming goods department. You also transport goods with aircrafts.

Warehouse clerk(*)

You are responsible for the proper storage of goods and take care of the shipping of the goods.

Courier driver(*) up to 7,5 t

You will take over the transport between our warehouses in Laatzen & Sarstedt and support our specialists while proceeding the incoming and outgoing goods.

How can I apply to NBB?

You can easily enter your most important information in the form fields and upload the rest of your documents quickly and easily. Please note that the size of each attachment must not exceed 10 MB. Which documents do I need for the application?

Basically, we need your current resume, a cover letter, job references and other certificates and qualifications as well as information about your salary expectations and your possible starting date. If you apply for a job as a driver, for example, we also need a copy of your driver's license and driver card. We may also need a copy of your current residence and work permit.

We are regularly looking for temporary workers who are either flexible or work on fixed days. It's worth taking a look at our job exchange or sending us an unsolicited application.

What are the working hours in logistics? Is work done in shifts?

In logistics, work is usually done in a five-day week, with weekend work occurring regularly. The assignments take place in alternating shifts, in weekly rotation. The early shift runs from 6am to 2.30pm and the late shift from 2pm to 10.30pm. It is also possible to work in the night shift. In each shift, eight hours are worked.

Is there a working time account?

In logistics, all employees use a time clock.
